As I said in my journal, my right foot is broken.
I'm with my foot in plaster cast. Che.

Well, as i have to stay home, waiting my foot to heal (can't walk for two weeks), i used my free time for doing this carp "tattoo" on my cast. I used nankin (china ink) and watercolor.
I used a reference for drawing the fish, the waves and the the lotus flower.

i choose the koi (carp) cause a carp moving up means "strength to overcome the challenges" or "still fighting against a problem".
BTW a moving-down-carp means you already overcame (sp?) the problem.
I hope to deserve to draw a moving-down-carp soon.

OMG. It was hard to draw it - i can't force my leg cause i must not move my foot. My arms and shoulders are in pain cause i was in a very uncomfortable position to draw.

It's just the first cast's "tattoo". I'll do one more drawing and i'll ask some friends to draw or just write something too ^^

I'm wounded but i'll have some fun at least. Mwahahaha XDDD

(I'm angry with my english skills. Still sucks. A damn crap. I even can't tell you carp's history...)

I drew it in a paper, first.
Then I used the sketch to draw in the clast.
So I colored it using watercolor ^^

It wasn't confortable XDDDD But I was really bored so I just ignored the pain in my backs and leg XDDDD

Quebrei a fíbula e estou com um gesso igualzinho o que você usou. Tava procurando ideias no dA pra decorar essa coisa que vai ser minha parceira durante as próximas semanas. A "tatuagem" ficou maravilhosa! Eu nunca teria pensado em usar aquarela, é uma ideia genial!

Sério? A fíbula? Isso deve atrapalhar muito.
A fratura foi séria? Teve que colocar pinos ou algo assim?

É super legal trabalhar com aquarela no gesso. Ele absorve a água rápido, então vc tem que trabalhar meio rápido também. Mas dá pra fazer coisas bem legais ^^

Atrapalha porque dei um jeito de estragar as duas pernas juntas! :lol:
Mas graças a Deus não foi sério, só que estou de molho (e de cadeira de rodas) por 6 semanas.

O que eu achei mais legal na sua arte é que gesso + aquarela = afresco! Foi uma sacada muito boa! Acho que tenho lápis aquareláveis em algum canto aqui da minha casa, só falta achar. To tentada a testar porque vou trocar o gesso!
